Medford Comunity & Town Guide
The city of Medford is located just north of Boston and Cambridge and offers easy access to Route I-93 along with many others used for commuting including Rte. 2, 16, 28, 60. Medford is home to the majority of the Middlesex Fells Reservation including Spot Pond and offers hiking, mountain biking, boating, children's programs, play groups and so much more. Wright's Pond offers a great beach for those hot summer days.
Medford apartments provide great access to Downtown Boston or Cambridge and for those commuting to towns north and west of the city (Woburn, Stoneham, Andover, Burlington, Waltham, Lexington etc). It is truly one of the best commuter locations outside of downtown.
There is regular MBTA Service (Wellington Station on the Orange line) and MBTA Commuter Rail service (West Medford stop which is one of the oldest train lines in New England). From Wellington Station it is an 8-10 minute T ride into downtown.
